People and photography.
If there is nothing interesting to make pictures of, people ask bystanders to take pictures of themselves. If there is no one to do that for them, selfies are a option.........
Anyhow, usually tourists are only paying attention to their own pursuits. That makes them easy targets for 'another level' of photography: someone else taking images of them. Then, my question is "who is portraying me?"
